Back to Randomeer Studios
Dr. Guy resides in Junesville, Arizona, where he runs his own electronics repair and retail store. Mazer Labs' experimental Void State Grid, which spans most of the United States of America, parts of southern Canada, and parts of the Pacific Ocean, detected abnormal spatial phenomena very close to his business, which leads researchers of Mazer Labs Research Division Beta to believe Dr. Guy is experimenting with his own spatial manipulation technology. His father, Albert Guy (see included Reference #1), was also a leading researcher in the field of spatial manipulation for his time.
Dr. Guy, at the time Robert Guy, interned at Mazer Labs starting on ####-##-##. Pursuing a major in electrical engineering, he applied and was assigned to work as an intern in Mazer Labs Research Division Epsilon and Division Delta. Several researchers, including one lead researcher working in Division Epsilon, noted of Guy's potential as a researcher for Mazer Labs. The Board of Directors also took note of Guy's possible recruitment for the duration he interned. Towards the end of his internship, he accused Mazer Labs as a whole on "stealing his independent research" (see included Reference #1). Briefly following this, he resigned as an intern.
Robert Guy sent an email to his supervisor and team's lead researcher ###### an email about his "stolen research." It is included below:
[EMAIL METADATA REDACTED]
Hello ######,
It has come to my attention that Mazer Labs (specifically division Beta) is beginning research on spacial technology involving "dimensional essence." Research done on dimensional essence has exclusively been researched by my father and his small team of scientists, and I happen to help with their research while I am based in California. This is enough reason to believe that you have stolen my, and my father's, research, and handed it to the researchers of Division Beta. However, because of the source of this research, I am certainly owed certain recruitment and promotion into Division Beta.
The company's knowledge regarding the very new field of spatial manipulation is very limited compared to my father's research team, and I would also like to warn, out of the good will of science, that the manipulation of dimensional essence poses a great risk that only my father and his researchers know of. For the benefit of the corporation, let me join in the research of spatial manipulation, or follow in the footsteps of humanity's history of scientific exploitation.
Sincerely,
Robert Guy
Shortly after, the Board of Directors denied all allegations of stolen research. Guy references his father and team of researchers. This is most likely a reference to the Theohold Research Group, a small research organization that was based in Theohold Ranch, Utah.
